What We Do: Our Support Programs
Emotional Resilience & Trauma Recovery
Participants are guided through group-based healing workshops and self-reflection seminars including our signature curriculum, "Five Steps to the Other Side." Topics include emotional literacy, stress management, identity rebuilding, and peer-to-peer support systems.
Women-Led Community Circles
We cultivate grassroots leadership by organizing local support groups and public speaking workshops. These circles provide safe spaces for women to express themselves, co-design events, and eventually take on mentoring roles in their communities.
Employment & Economic Readiness
We offer training in job search techniques, CV and cover letter preparation, and small business mentorship. This includes our financial literacy sessions on budgeting, banking, and income planning. We focus on practical, confidence-building tools that lead to long-term independence.
Legal Awareness & Language Access
Many of the women we support face barriers related to immigration, housing rights, and social benefits. WHWO delivers community legal education alongside basic English language workshops tailored for navigating daily life and accessing essential services.
